Vaccinations are a simple, safe and effective way of protecting your child against certain diseases. The risks from having these diseases are far greater than the risk of any minor side effects from immunisation.
It can be confusing trying to keep up-to-date with your children’s immunisation schedules especially if you are following different schedules from different countries here in the UAE.
Attached is a general guide to the vaccination schedules in the UAE, UK, Ireland and America. They are very similar for the most part. It is possible to catch up on most vaccinations if they have been missed in the past.
Why Health Screening Matters?
Most people are already aware of the lifestyle choices that can improve our health, and the choices that can damage it. But our bodies give out lots of early warning signals to protect us from disease which sadly we are not aware of.
Get Active your way – the benefits of exercise!
With the temperature steadily dropping and the glorious Winter season approaching, now is the time to get active and increase your fitness! The benefits of being active for physical and mental health are huge. Being active helps release endorphins in your brain which have a positive effect on your mood, not to mention benefits to your heart, lungs, muscles and bones. Getting out and being active is also a great way to manage stress.
